Most of thees paintings are latex house paint on old drop clothes painted with home made brushes created from old paint brushes. I 've run a residential paint company for years and at one point decided to start painting. All of these paintings were done in 2003 2004 . Above is a painting of a dock in North Carolina. Canvass stapled onto drywall.
Again latex house paint on old drop clothes. Decided to do a two part picture. Seems like spilting the picture onto two frames creates this unknown space. Maybe it causes the viewer to fill in the blank space and there by become more involved in an otherwise mundane image.
This is a framed painting of Elwood. If you took the painting out of the frame you'd see that it is painted on the back of a printed picture of a 1980's Ferrari. Latex house paint on the back of an old print. One of the first paintings.

Agian its old house paint on an old drop cloth that was mounted on a frame and primed. Brush was made by taping old bristles to a stick or pencil. This is a 911 piece. The photo that the painting is based on was shot from the interior of a blown out building, near the towers; the cross in painting comes from the blown out glass on the corner of the building and the window frames.
