The large marble ( about two inches)has a black backing w/ an orange banned through it. The smaller grid ( about 1 1/4 inch has a dot  backing.  I really enjoy this design. i don't see many of these and I'm excited about taking this design further.  The pair is available for  $140.00   SOLD

About a seven inch long vine with open windows showing the mirror finish on the interior of the vine.

I met Robert Kinchloe about seven years ago.  He welcomed me into his studio and I've been hangin around ever since.  The work on this website has only been made possible with his guidence.   Check out Rob's work at WorkhouseArts.org  this is an incredible new art space made from a decomission D.C. prison.   This paperweight is the result of Robs class with Loren Stump.  It is made of an incredibly clear glass.  Making these paperweights is a two man process.  Sometimes it good to be a the assistant.  The decorative color chips are some fairly generac milifiore that were just laying around the studio.  Look for more of these in the future. Were currently working on new designs.

Two inch marble with magnified murini chips.  110.00

This is about 2  inch marble.  The three photos above show the outside belt or band decoration.  The belt was made by applying the mili chips to a tube and then folding over the top of the tube to encase the mili in clear glass.    110.00

  A clear core was covered in orange.  Then ten canes were applied over the orange.  It has a flat base to allow light to travel inside and make the orange even brighter.     $90.00
